Support Farming For Nature

We welcome support from individuals and private organisations who wish to make a vital contribution to our work. By making a donation, you will be supporting farmers, that farming for nature across Ireland. Your support will help drive change and protect the natural health of our countryside. Your donation will make a difference to disseminating, educating and promoting nature friendly practices to our network of farmers, now and in the future.

Farming For Nature is a project under The Burrenbeo Trust which is a registered charity and is listed on Revenue.ie with an assigned Charity number (CHY No. 16834).

Farming For Nature has a clear mission and set of goals.  See here our complete Strategic Plan 2024-2026

Put simply: Farming For Nature aims to encourage all farmers to increase biodiversity on their land, manage their land in holistic manner, provide cleaner water, build fertile soils, help mitigate against climate change, and produce nutrient-dense food that will benefit their community, their economy and their environment.

Who can help us

Individual donors

By making a donation you can become a ‘Champion’ of Farming For Nature. You will be supporting farmers who are restoring and enhancing ecosystems on farms across Ireland.  Join us on this journey and become a ‘Champion’ of our work through a donation either in your name or on behalf of someone.  Click here for our Individual Donors page.

Companies

We accept donations from businesses who want to support our programmes, campaigns or events. We can also tailor partnerships with businesses that wish to have higher impact, by working together on specific projects to help us fulfil our mission.  We offer a range of options which are listed on our Companies Donors page.

To achieve the annual Farming For Nature strategic plan we have to find approximately

€500,000 in the next year to carry out our 20 different programmes.

More than 30% of that is currently supported by the National Parks and Wildlife Service and

the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine but has be to sourced annually.   We could do more with your help.
