NOMINATION DESCRIPTION
BASE Ireland nomination for the award this year is John Pringle from Wicklow. John runs a sheep and suckler to beef family farm in the Wicklow hills. John is farming in a way that respects nature in a very picturesque part of the country. Since joining BASE he has a willingness to share his farming practices while also an active learner. John is very active promoting the farming industry and has been the face of marketing campaigns for the meat industry abroad. He also shares his farming experiences on twitter with his many thousand, keen followers. We at BASE Ireland would consider him as a super ambassador if he was chosen.
